Border Patrol Agent

I am currently in the National Guard. Can I be a Border Patrol Agent?

Absolutely! The Border Patrol will work with agents on a case-by-case basis to accommodate service with the National Guard. Usually, an agent will take a sabbatical from the National Guard while in training at the academy, and then work with his or her commanding officer to be re-assigned to a unit within commuting distance of his/her duty station.
